What community events/activities has your chapter participated in to get the word out about P.E.O.?

Chapter W, Morgantown, West Virginia, organized a dual purpose Ways and Means project to get the word out about P.E.O. and to raise money for the philanthropies. A Princess Tea Party was first held in November 2009 where community girls from ages 2-8 and their guardians were invited to attend. Little girls from the area came dressed in their prettiest dresses. The tea party offered a child-friendly tea party complete with delicate treats, a craft session for making princess wands and paper flowers, and an interactive play session for teaching good manners and showing kindness to others.

To share the news of our Sisterhood, Chapter W used the P.E.O. information poster at the registration table and provided a P.E.O. business/thank you card in a goodie bag. It was such a success, Chapter W held another Princess Tea Party in May 2010!
